Empowering Potential • Shaping Futures

Every Child Has Potential. We Help It Shine.

At Little Stars School and Therapy Center, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment designed around their individual strengths and needs. We provide a holistic model of education and therapeutic support for children ages 3–13, bringing together academic learning, emotional development, behavioral support, social development, physical development, and therapy.

Five Areas of Development

Our holistic model supports the whole child across five interconnected areas:

  • Emotional

Emotional — helping children recognize, express, and manage emotions in healthy ways.

  • Behavioral

Behavioral — supporting positive routines, self-regulation, participation, and skill development.

  • Physical

Physical — encouraging movement, coordination, daily living skills, and physical participation.

  • Social

Social — developing communication, interaction, relationships, and participation with others.

  • Academic

Academic — building foundational literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, and individualized learning skills.

Why Little Stars

At Little Stars, we recognize that children learn and develop in different ways. Our goal is to understand each child as a whole person and provide the structure, encouragement, education, and therapeutic support that helps them make meaningful progress.

Through individualized education plans, small class sizes, therapeutic services, parent and caregiver collaboration, and ongoing progress reviews, our team works alongside families to help each child build skills, confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

Year-Round Learning

Consistent learning can help children maintain skills and continue building momentum. Little Stars uses a year-round learning model with 11 weeks of structured learning per quarter and 2-week breaks between quarters. This approach is designed to support continuity, minimize regression, and provide regular opportunities to review progress and set new goals.

Each quarter: 11 weeks of structured learning followed by a 2-week break, repeated year-round.

Parent Partnership

Families are an essential part of a child's progress. At the end of each quarter, parents and caregivers meet with teachers and therapists to review the child's development, evaluate goals, celebrate progress, and collaboratively establish targets for the next quarter.
